Cookies of Course

April 08, 2011

Cookies of Course is a small kiosk in Harbour Centre famous for their gourmet cookies. I picked up a baker's dozen yesterday for the special Friday price of $9.50 (regular price: $11). My favourite is either the chocolate decadence or the butterscotch pecan, depending on my mood. The chocolate decadence is richer with a robust but not-too-sweet chocolate flavour. It's perfect as a pick-me-up snack for depressing days. The butterscotch pecan tastes strongly of caramel with gooey bits of butterscotch and chunks of pecans. I prefer this over the chocolate decadence when I'm looking for something a bit more subtle. The cookies are soft, fluffy and slightly chewy. They're not overly sweet, but full of flavour and deeply satisfying.

  1. OMG Cookies of Course beats Blue Chip cookies, hands down these days!
I got 24 once from the first Groupon and bought it to a hockey game at a friend's place... The guys couldn't keep their hands off of it, despite complaining about the calories!
